Karla Waggener brings deep expertise in embryology and years of experience working hands-on in the lab. During the live conversation, Karla will walk us through what really happens behind the scenes — from how egg quality is assessed to how embryos are selected and prepared for transfer.

She’ll help break down some of the most confusing or misunderstood parts of the process — like PGT testing, assisted hatching, embryo grading, and what happens when eggs or embryos don’t develop as expected. She’ll also reflect on what she wishes more people knew before starting treatment.
